Sights
The whole outback has s lot of sights that enrich a significant place, but also the whole outback.
Tribalj is half way between Drivenik and Grižane. Here some scientists found an old Croatian necropolis that consists findings from the 8th till the 11th century. In the graves a lot of tools and jewelry were found. Besides the historical findings Tribalj owns a beautiful church of the wholly Marry and a natural beauty known as the lake in Tribalj.
While visiting Drivenik you will see the castle of St. Stephan and St. Dominic’s. It is very interesting because of its four angled shape and the towers, bulwarks, high walls and a mobile bridge that is the only way to reach the castle. The St. Stephan’s church is from the gothic age and has 3 church towers while the St. Dominic’s church has only one.
In Grižane you can find some leftovers from an old castle that was made on a cliff (griž). That is how the place got its name. There are also some ruins of a building from the mediaeval times, just like the churches of the holy Mary and St. Martin.
