Making a video montage and giving them away as wedding favors is a very good idea. This slideshow is usually called “video montage.†Video montage is a collection of photographs and other images arranged in succession, with some background sound or music, and rendered into video.
Some videographers include the creation of video montage in their package, but in case it is very expensive, it is very possible to make your own. Let us try to go over the basic process in creating your video montage for your wedding favor.
First, you must have enough photos to tell a story. Let’s say you want to make a three-minute video montage. If one photo should last for 5 seconds, you need at least 36 photos for a three-minute montage. Group photos need more seconds than solo portraits.
Second, scan the pictures and edit them using Photoshop or other image editors. Increase the contrast and adjust the brightness to bring out the colors. Then use PowerPoint to arrange your pictures to tell a story and add captions.
Third, use video editing software to make a slideshow. Windows Movie Maker is very easy to learn. Then burn your video to disc.
Fourth, make a good CD insert and sticker design.
